goodbye my love

Today my cat Kiara moved. Her new home is with an older lady and I think she's going to be happy there, I hope so anyway. If you wonder why, it's because it's my cat (was) and since I'm no longer living at home, she needs someone to take care of her and my mum works too long in the days. SO we all decidid that it was better for her to find a new home.

I miss her like MAD already and I really didn't want this, because I love her and she is such a beautiful cat. But sometimes the best thing to do hurts, and you just have to think back and thank for the years and memories you have made.

I LOVE YOU KIARA. Forever.

Hi there,
now I'm finally home! When I arrived at the airport, my dad came as a clown and picked me up! We had decided to dress up for the day, but unfortunately stupid me, forgot to buy some makeup and clothing.. but it was so fun and I was really happy that my dad did it. :D I don't care what you think haha, that's me and my family! <3

Before I go home, back to Berlin, I have decided to surprise my dad as well.. wonder what I will be..?

HAPPY GAL

Today I am taking the flight home, can't believe it! It's been 74 days since I was home last, may sound little, but it feels pretty long. I'll update here when I arrive in Sweden, at home. It's going to be great to be home for a while.

about baking, lights and presents

This week is the last week of school (until Thursday), and then I go on holidays! On friday is my flight back home to Sweden.

So, since it's the last week, we don't really have normal schedule. Today I had german, kügym and ballet. After I went with my friend Andrea to Alexander platz to buy a really nice fruit bread we saw the other day, for lunch. It was really good. Really something for those how like dried fruit and nuts, (figs, raisins, apricots etc.) Then we looked around a bit in the shops and Andrea bought a jumper for christmas. When we were finished we took the tram back to his place and decided to make some cookies for Alessia (whom is home from school and sick). We took our cookies (baked oatmeal ones) and went home and had tea time with Alessia. So cosy! I also found some christmas lights to put up in our home, which made it even cosier.

This was over all my day. And now I'm almost finished with my christmas presents! How are you doing, have you found everything? :p

German Christmas

In school yesterday we had a christmas celebration with german cakes and card-making! It's a bit diffirent than swedish and english traditional food. "Stollen" is the most known christmas cake, I believe, and it's like a fruit cake, very heavy. I will bring some back to Sweden so my family can try. I think it's fun to try other traditions!

TBT - 2 years

First of all: SORRY FOR SOME UGLY EDITING AHAHA! This is a bunch of very old photos! (2-3 years old haha)

Just looked through my photo gallery here on my blog, and found all these photos! Oh my god. I'm just saying, time goes so fast! Two years ago, nearly three, I had no idea I was going to live in Berlin. I didn't know anything. What beautiful things life had to offer. I am amazed. You should do this kind of thing too! It's really fun, and also to see how much everything has changed, and also how much more you know and have done now.

And btw, today it's only 7 days left until I take the flight home. Aaagh, can't wait to hug my family and friends!

#  more from the christmas party.

daily thoughts: I guess it's normal, but I feel I appreciate everything more and more for each day that goes. Just being able to do the thing I want. Having friends. Having my family. Being able to listen to beautiful music. And most of all, having life. Life is such a wonderful thing. But then again, it's what you make it to. And right now, I'm making it the best, so if you ain't happy, do something about it. And remember, 99% of the time you only regret the things you haven't done.

- Beautiful morning here in Berlin the other day. -

Hi guys, hope you're well. I'm still at home and I feel a bit better but I'm going to need at least one more day at home, unfortunately! I'm so looking forward to be back dancing soon!

Btw, on my tumblr I am doing a December challenge, which means I'm following a list which tells me each day what to put up a picture of, and of course the theme is round Christmas and Winter. Down below I'll link the posts I have done and I'll keep on doing it until new year, like an Advent Calendar. Hope you enjoy it!

I love cooking and trying new stuff and flavours, such fun! And I love eating healthy and a lot of vegetarian and fish. Although I eat turkey quite a lot and I enjoy meat too sometimes.
ANYWAY, today (since I got time when I'm sick at home), I decided to try out our little mini-oven we (Alessia my room-mate, and I) have in our kitchen. I had some Turkey mini-filets and pesto so I thought I'd just make a very easy and tasty turkey á la pesto. In the oven (180 degrees for 15-20 min). Turned out very nice. Serve with salad and choose like bulgur, rise, pasta etc. to have with it and garnish with parsley. (I didn't feel I needed any carbs right now, just laying in bed all day haha, and had bread for breakfast, so that's why I only had turkey and salad!) - BON APPÉTIT.

A thing I haven't done for a long time is hot chocolate. I thought, it's december so why not start again? Not a bad idea! I made it out of hot milk, cocao and honey. I usually use vanilla powder and sugar, but I didn't have it at home, and honey wasn't wrong either.

Otherwise? (not so fun to read so you don't have to read haha) This morning I got up early to go to the doctors, because my cold never goes away. Constant coughing for 2 weeks, almost 3. The doctor luckily said it was just a normal flue, which is normal to have this time of the year. He gave me two medicines and a certificate for school saying I need to stay at home for three days. Uuuuugh, I really don't want to miss a day of dancing, but I also realize I have to relax and take it easy to get well. Health unfortunately have to go first. :( I pushed it to far, going to school when I was really bad, I had no energy and felt dizzy and could hardly talk, but now I have to get well. I'm going to cure myself so much theese days so I will come back stronger than ever! Is there someone of you who are also ill? In that case, hope you feel better soon, and remember - better to stay one day more at home to be sure you're well!

SO, Finally it's the most beautiful time of the year - December. I love, love, love and love this month so much! I'm not starting it very well though, I mean laying in bed sick all day wasn't my plan, but I've tried to make the best out of it and one thing I made was a playlist with my favourite christmas songs! I thought I share it with you: christmassy - hope you like it!

And, now skype with my family and friends awaits! To all the swedish: glad 1:a advent! :) And to the others happy first of december! <3 Let this month be the best!
